Dixon Bowles grew up in the little town of Preston Idaho where he began dance training at age 16. Since then, he has studied on full ride dance scholarships at Weber State University and Utah Valley University while also performing on their pre-professional modern dance companies. He also danced professionally with the company Trujillo and Dancers and had the opportunity to perform in New York with them. He has been teaching jazz and contemporary dance as well as choreographing for advanced competing companies for many years at various studios around the valley including but not limited to Jazz N Place Studio, Elite Dance Studio, Performing Dance Center, The Pointe Academy, and Barlow Arts Conservatory.
Most recently, Dixon has just returned from a national tour with Disney Jr Live on Tour where he had the opportunity to perform in arenas and theaters across the country with performers from around the nation. He is very excited to be back in Utah and to be getting back into teaching and choreographing.
